Slachtehiem is the place to celebrate your party. You will find a beautifully decorated party hall here with a cozy atmosphere. What makes Slachtehiem so special is our unique restaurant concept and the combination of the cozy banquet hall and the space around the farm. Therefore there is plenty of entertainment for both young and old.
Our location is suitable for meetings and parties of up to 140 people.
THE PLACE WITH A UNIQUE RESTAURANT CONCEPT
Slachtehiem offers a unique restaurant concept that is very well received. During your party, everyone gets their own drinks from the well-stocked refrigerator or from the bar table. With the special beer tap, your guests tap their own beer. This creates a wonderful casual and cozy atmosphere.
With weddings and parties for large groups, we ensure that a bar with already poured drinks is ready. Do you want personal service? Then this can of course be arranged.
DELICIOUS BUFFETS
Slachtehiem offers you many different options in catering for your party or stay. From a delicious farm lunch to a luxurious hot and / or cold buffet. Or how about a delicious barbecue or Grand Gourmet? Even a Chinese buffet is one of the endless possibilities. We are happy to tell you more about what we can offer you.

Family day or party
A family day on Slachtehiem with the whole family. Together with host Rudolf you discuss your wishes for your family day and we put together a fun and varied program.
You can use our cozy location for casual gatherings. In consultation we serve coffee / tea with pastries, lunch, drinks and / or dinner (buffet) during the family day.
You can also make it an unforgettable family weekend or week and stay overnight at Slachtehiem. There are in our group accommodation luxury sleeping accommodations for 16 people
Wedding day
You have wedding plans? Congratulations! We are happy to help you fulfill the day of your dreams. On Slachtehiem you can spend a whole day (or even several days) relaxing with family and friends and celebrate this special event extensively.

You can get married on Slachtehiem. The municipality of southwest Friesland provides for this. This means that you can give each other the yes in our party room or (in good weather in the yard).

- Get married in the beautifully decorated party room, outside on the water or in the meadow with your feet in the grass
- Coffee and tea with wedding cake in the party room or on the terrace
- Take wedding photos in the immediate vicinity of Slachtehiem
- Cozy receptionwith drinks and snacks
- Fun group activities for an originaland active wedding day
- Good food with the whole group; for example an extensive (lunch) buffet and / or a cozy barbecue
- A vibrant party evening with a casual atmosphere due to our unique catering concept.
- Stay overnight in our bridal suite.
- Stay with 16 of your dearest guests in the group accommodation. Of course, guests can also stay overnight at our campsite with their own camping equipment camping.

Celebrate your birthday with family and friends. At Slachtehiem you have all the space and no mess at home. Of course we take care of your birthday party down to the last detail and you don’t have to worry about anything.
You celebrate your birthday in our cozy party room. In consultation, we will serve coffee / tea with cake, lunch, drinks and / or dinner (buffet) during your birthday party.
Do you not feel like getting in the car after your party or do you have guests from far away? Then stay at Slachtehiem. There are in our group accommodation luxury sleeping accommodations for 16 people.

Slachtehiem is the place to celebrate your party. What makes our location so unique is the combination of the cosy party room and the space around the farm where fun activities can be organised.
For children there are colouringpictures, games and fun indoor toys. There are also outdoor activities.
In the yard
We used to be a dairy farmer, nowadays a cattle ranch with young cattle, sheep and chickens. Farm life can therefore still be experienced daily on our farm. You are welcome to visit the stables! We also have 3 cats and our dog Lytse Wytse who kindly welcomes our guests. Children will also enjoy themselves with the go-karts, the trampoline and other outdoor toys.
Group activities
On the site, you may use the farmer’s volleyball court free of charge. You may also use the canoes, go-karts and so on.

Terrace
In good weather, enjoy the wide, rural views from your terrace. This terrace is adjacent to the group accommodation, or the terrace by the party room.The carports also have a nice seating area.The yard also has a detached seating area with a glass shelter, ideal in windy weather and moderate sunshine
Spend the night
After your unforgettable party, you can sleep on Slachtehiem if you wish. In our group accommodation there are luxury sleeping accommodations for 16 people.
