Enjoy the ultimate holiday feeling with the whole group in the countryside of beautiful Friesland. Besides the luxury that the 5-star group accommodation of Slachtehiem offers, you will also be pampered by Lenie.
When you book directly with us (i.e. not via booking sites), you will receive fresh rolls from the baker for breakfast on the first morning.
You will find peace and quiet here, but you won’t get bored either! There are lots of fun group activities to do on the farm itself and plenty of trips in the area.

Group accommodation
On the first floor of the farm there are 4 luxury farm hotel rooms. Each room has its own toilet and shower and has a lovely double bed.
One of these hotel rooms has an extra large bathroom with a bath, toilet and shower. This room has 2 luxurious senior beds. This room also has care facilities.
On the second floor are 2 more bedrooms (family rooms) for 5 people each. Both rooms have 5 single box-spring beds. Here too there is a large toilet and a separate shower.

Living room & kitchen
You enter the group accommodation on the first floor of the farm through a private entrance. Here you have a spacious common living room / kitchen with roof terrace where you can sit comfortably. The kitchen is well equipped with ao. a spacious refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, combi microwave, coffee maker, Senseo, juicer and more.

On the first floor of the farm there are 4 luxury farm hotel rooms. Each room has its own toilet and shower and has a lovely double bed.
On the second floor are 2 more bedrooms (family rooms) for 5 persons each with a private bathroom.
Roof terrace
In 2017, the long-cherished wish for a luxurious outdoor terrace at height was created. From your group accommodation on the 1st floor, you can now also enjoy the rising and setting of the sun outside.
In the yard
We used to be a dairy farmer, nowadays a cattle ranch with young cattle, sheep and chickens. Farm life can therefore still be experienced daily on our farm. You are welcome to visit the stables! We also have 3 cats and our dog Lytse Wytse who kindly welcomes our guests. Children will also enjoy themselves with the go-karts, the trampoline and other outdoor toys.
Group activities
When staying in the group accommodation, you can use the volleyball field, farmer’s football or pole sticks on the farmland.. You can also use the canoes.

At Slachtehiem we want to give everyone a wonderful holiday. We therefore offer holidays with care. You will stay with your family and / or friends in our cozy group accommodation. Enjoy good company, the beautiful sunsets in the countryside, the animals and nature on and around our yard.

Wheelchair accessible
Slachtehiem is easily wheelchair accessible and has a spacious passenger lift between the ground floor and the first floor (living room and adapted hotel room) for disabled guests. In addition, the skylights on the first floor are all at seat height, so that you can see the beautiful Frisian landscape.
Adapted hotel room
One of the hotel rooms is adapted for people who are wheelchair-bound and / or need care.
The room is equipped with 2 luxurious senior beds (with high-low function). The room is equipped with a ceiling lift system to bed, toilet and bath.
Care provision on vacation
The care activities can be provided by colleagues from Thuiszorg Zuidwest Friesland, Buurtzorg or Het Friese Land. Lenie has 30 years of experience as a caring IG and still provides this care daily at Slachtehiem’s day care. Every year we proudly achieve the “Quality Mark Show You“.

You can use the dishwasher. You must bring your own dishwasher tablets.
